About the Library
The Bayard Public Library was first organized in 1936 by a local Woman's Club. It is open every day except Sunday. It includes a meeting room and has public access computers with high speed internet connections. Use Brainfuse to Job Search. We have Newspaper Archives of the News Gazzette dating back to 1880.
The Library has an active Friends of the Library Group
Friends of the Library
The mission of the Friends of the Bayard Public Library is to provide support for enhancement of services and to encourage usage of the library. Friends of the Bayard Public Library meets the third Wednesday of the months of January, April, July and October at 6:30 pm in the library. Dues are $5. per family and are payable in January of each year.
